How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Pbfff, had to get that old journal off my page. XD So... Update!

I've got three weeks left of school (THREEE WEEEEKS). Got a lot to do before Grad Show! So very much. I'm applying for the third year of 3D animation too.

I hope I get accepted because a certain company by the name of Pixar opened a studio here in Vancouver, so. I kind of have to learn 3D, haha.

Speaking of 3D animation, go see How To Train Your Dragon! Seriously, `alohalilo just needs to open his own animation studio or something.

Yeah anyway, school is pretty much taking up all of my time. Which brings me to the fact that I've gotten several notes asking about commissions and those animated icons so I thought I'd let everyone know that it's still going to be a while until I open for them again.

Its great to see others appreciate HTTYD,
here it had a lot of bad review, but i found the animation superb, i like the little details they had, and the story was heartwarming.
Saw it in 3D and it was stunning

Actually I didn't see a single bad review (even Rotten Tomatoes gave it 95%!) and I heard nothing but good things about it.

Well... The movie at least. The trailer was absolutely terrible.
