Heya!   So today was the last day of school for two weeks for the Olympics.  They're using my school as a parking lot/shuttle thing.  So we're not allowed there, haha.

SPEAKING OF THE OLYMPICS, I saw this yesterday: [link]

My camera ran out of batteries right after I took that picture so I couldn't get a shot of the torch right as it went by.  OH WELL, it was neat. :]  It went right by my regular busstop so I figured I'd get up a bit earlier to see it.  Glad I did.  I'm excited to watch the Opening Ceremonies tomorrow!  And then I'm going to try and go to the free ZIP LINE in Downtown Vancouver sometime with some classmates. 8D  IT'LL BE LIKE I'M SPIDERMAN or something.  Best hangtime ever.

And then that's going to be... pretty much it for the Olympics for me. X)  It'll be all workworkwork.  Which means I won't be taking any commissions for animated icons.  Sorry guys!  I really need these two weeks to work on my film.

Which is a lot of animation.  Not doing it in Flash either, so that's going to make it a bit tougher. x)  Yaaayyy TVPaint.  It's so much fun to animate in, but doing the flat colours?  Ugh.

Is anyone here for the Olympics by any chance?  Or are you all just SOO EXCITED TO WATCH THEM?

EDIT:

HAHA OKAY.  That's enough for now!  I'm going to finish this batch then that's it until I decide to open them again!  Maybe sometime in August, a few people are asking if I'll still be open then.

I'm starting to get a bit overwhelmed, is all. x)  More are coming in than going out and I'm not finding any time to do anything else, like my big animation project.  I really want to finish it before school starts again in September.

I also need a MUCH more comfortable computer chair. X)  It's part of the reason I'm stopping requests for these; my chair is very annoying to sit in.

SO if you send a note from now on, I won't put you on the list. D:  Just keep an eye on my journal for when I open these again (WHICH I WILL.)  I'm going camping from August 17th to the 22nd so maybe I'll open them sometime after that (or maybe before, it really depends on how much I manage to get done on my project).

Finally, I can't thank you guys enough for all the kind words on my icons!  It really means a lot as an animator that you guys like to look at them. X)  It just means... That I've succeeded.
